Stefan Kleinschuster

ARTIST:  Stefan Kleinschuster
Stefan KleinschusterIt has been more than 20 years since he last lived on the east coast, and we are so pleased that Stefan is our resident artist this fall and joining our teaching staff.  His patience, insight and breadth of knowledge of the art world, religion, philosophy, and history will offer our students not only art education, but art understanding.  Stefan has an amazing way of gently and mindfully communicating to both children and adults, to help you see the layers of your life and the connectivity and relevance within your surrounding world.

ABOUT the ARTIST:
A resident of Colorado, Stefan has taken the art world by storm with his monumental and powerful figural oil paintings.    According to the Denver Westword,

"...Kleinschuster is one of the state's best contemporary representational artists, and this very strong show (Robischon Gallery, 2005) goes a long way in explaining why".

Known through his paintings for his immense sense of power and color, Stefan's work has been shown internationally in galleries and exhibits such as the Robischon Gallery, Rocky Mountain Center for Musical Arts, University of Colorado at Boulder, Museum of Contemporary Art, Boulder, CO; Lincoln Center, Ft.
